Yes, that's right, I am really beginning to hate Copic! Not the markers, but the Liners! A few weeks ago I bought two Sepia Multiliner in Japan, I was so happy about them, because in China you can't buy Copic Liner, at least I haven't seen them so far, so I was really really happy, but when I first tested them on a picture back in China, I already knew, that something was wrong with the two of them, the 0,1 seemed to be empty, I had to redraw every line at least two or three times, that was the first thing that really annoyed me! But at least I could use it and although it seemed almost empty, I could outline some pictures, so I didn't mind drawing every line many times.

But just now, it got worse, I needed far more times to redraw the lines, so I was afraid I couldn't finish the picture and I was right, BECAUSE:In the middle of drawing the TIP, the liner tip, plopped out of its holding and flew over the table!!! Can you believe it?! Now I have a Sepia Copic Liner without tip!! And I really wasn't pressing hard with the tip, I had figured out, that the softer I brush the paper the more ink comes out, so I don't think I am at fault, usually I am a bit rough to my liners, but not this time!!
At least I had the 0,05 liner to finish the pic as quickly as I could, before the same thing happens with that liner as well!!

I always had some problems with the copic liners, but now I am really angry, if I still was in Japan, I would return the liner. In Germany I had a similar problem with a normal black Copic Liner, that would squirt ink over the paper at will! I think I will switch to Neopiko Liners now, luckily I bought some in Japan, too, but they are not Sepia....-_____-
Perhaps I will go looking for sepia ink the next few days, but I already tried some chinese manga ink, wasn't so great, really...thanks Copic, now I will never again buy any liner from you!!!!

I just want to say thank you for all those nice people, who thought of my birthday and wrote me congratulation wishes, thank you so much!!

My birthday itself wasn't the best I ever had, I was still a bit sick because of the weather and the cold I caught last Friday, I was in bed all weekend, yay! I didn't get any presents, but that's okay, my mom will give me my presents, when I am back in Germany. My boyfriend bought me a light table for only 10€, yes, China can be nice, I am considering taking it back to Germany, even though it is quite of big and unpractical to transport, but it is good enough to work with and in Germany light tables are more expensive I think, even if I built one on my own, which would cost at least material and lots of time, I am not quite the skilled craftsman! ^__^

Nevertheless, it was a nice birthday, my classmates sang Happy Birthday on Chinese, today I got a little but highly appreciated birthday present from a Japanese classmate, her notes of the stuff I missed, that was so nice, I just asked her to borrow her notebook, I would have never imagined, that she would copy it by hand and give it to me, it was such a nice gesture!!! My classmates this semester are so much friendlier than the last ones, really, there are more people to talk with and have fun with, the last ones were either very shy or didn't want to talk, I don't know, but I feel more comfortable in this class now!

Well, and for the rest of my birthday I ate a lot of cake, Schwarzwälder-Kirschtorte, yamyam, Black Forest Cake, because near my campus there is a German Bakery and the cakes just taste delicious! They are expensive, though, but, it was my birthday!! Then we watched the third Narnia, yeah, well, we already watched so many movies here, DVDs are just too cheap, because Chinese people are not interested in buying the original DVD, they just watch it online!

Still, celebrating birthday without family is sad, I really missed my mom, Skype is really no good replacement in such situations, but Christmas was far worse!!
I really am looking forward to coming back to Germany in three month, I miss my home, my belongings, the food and friends (mind the order, food comes first, then friends, yes, that's right! ), I really miss Germany, but I am afraid, being back home I will miss China!

I have to go back to studying, drawing, faulenzing, eating!
